You know, I think Fark needs a new category of contest similar to the Photography and Photoshop ones, except for this contest you find old audio clips like this and tweak them with Autotune or some other bit of audio editing software. We could call it Farkotune or something. Just like with the Photoshop ones...the link gets greened, submitters post their entries for a week or so, and then it gets posted to the Main page for everyone to vote. I think that would be good for lots of laughs, and I think this clip would be a good launch for it.
Cewley:i used to know how many times he says i know.
I was thinking it was 24. The Wiki says otherwise:
When thirty-one-year-old Withers recorded "Sunshine," his first chart hit, he was still working at a factory making toilet seats for 747s.
He originally intended to write more lyrics for the portion of the song where he repeats the phrase "I know" twenty-six times, but the other musicians told him to leave it the way it was. "I was this factory worker puttering around," Withers said. "So when they said to leave it like that, I left it."
That's what I'm talkin' about. The Old Grey Whistle Test was always first rate, and that scene was perfect. A few musicians just sitting down and groovin'.

My girlfriends name is Sunshine, so I'm getting a kick out of these replies. Actually, her name is Crystal Sunshine; as in Crystal Meth and Orange Sunshine. Needless to say, every time I visit her family there is some serious weird shiat that goes down.

"they" were right.
The song didn't really need more lyrics.
Hell, that was a lot packed into 2:03 anyway.
