Hasn't his character been a doctor for like, 20 years now? He should be running the damn place.

Scrubs is one of the few consistently funny sitcoms on TV. It is holding the fort against reality shows.

Dead? Zach Braff is laughing at you from his 32,000 square foot mansion.

If you remove most of season 6 and season 7 from that statement, I agree completely.

I'm actually starting the series all over again, almost done with season 1

I love that show. It's such a huge difference from the old, old 'doctors in emotional crisis' trash that's been on TV pretty much since there has been TV. (And, strangely enough, the doctors actually seem to have a job)

Kudos to Zach for not being dead.

I guess I'll be the contrarian; I think the show is overrated. Funny at times, yes, not as shallow as the run-of-the-mill sitcom, but not in the top ten by any means.

He said he was on set filming the new title sequence. So in other words, his dressing room is as nice as your parent's house.

He is only on for 6 episodes, and then the show changes to Brown Bear and Dr. Cox teaching at a college. This is not the same show at all. Totally different from previous years. They'll probably change the name of the show eventually.

It was the Faison's rendition of, "Wind Beneath My Wings," in full Scrubs apparel, that had me thinking that.

I mean, it really gives people a chance to live outside their means through someone else's vision. And I think that's something really great that I can give back to the community. Sure I could be a doctor or a lawyer, but do they really help anyone? Sure you can save someone's life, but can you really change it for the better? I'm not saying their jobs aren't important, just not as important as mine." - Zach Braff on Jobs

I would argue that Tila Tequila has brought more good feelings and joy to people overall than Zach Braff has.

Even in 3 second bursts per person, it would add up quickly.

He doesn't seem to be very different in character than out of character. Except for that whole, "I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV" thing.

And Yesterday, I just kinda happened to be looking at the Wikipedia page for Zach Braff and I noticed that it had been updated that morning, saying that Braff had posted a youtube video dispelling rumours of his suicide. Apparently Wikipedia can get information faster than fark. I really should have found news reports mentioning the suicide so I could have gotten a green light...

It was a decent comedy that got shoved off the major stations too early. It was fairly solid on comedy, but you kinda either love or hate most of the characters because each one is so quirky. It was also one of those frustrating comedies like "Friends" or "The Office" where the entire time there is an obvious attraction between two leads, and the writers will never let it go in that direction for more than a few episodes here and there.

That's initially why I stopped watching it, since I get rather pissed off when the characters I like can't seem to make an obvious relationship work and be happy. No, its much better for ratings that we make it obvious these two are perfect for each other, but let them repetedly get jealous of the other's relationship with someone else.

I would say that they have shown that Elliot and JD are not really perfect for each other do to conflicting neurosis.

They have great attraction for each other but unless/until they both mature emotionally they will always be a disaster.

They're not perfect for each other. It's just that the circumstances of the situation dictate that they're going to be the best that each ends up with.

J.D.'s perfect woman would have been Molly Clock. Elliot's perfect man would have been her ex-fiance. Neither happened because the characters are really damn flawed.

Besides, J.D. only needs a GF/wife for sex, really. Turk's his soulmate, and if there's such thing as reincarnation, those two were probably epic lovers in a past life.

mitEj: I would say that they have shown that Elliot and JD are not really perfect for each other do to conflicting neurosis.

That was the plot of the last two seasons. They've both come to terms with the fact that they're total trainwrecks, and think they can build a relationship regardless, since they're honest about it.

This. Like most comedy shows, when the main characters start popping out children, that means the show stops being funny and needs to be cancelled. Sadly, I'm quite sure this means that "The Office" won't last much longer :(

The show has definitely lost its luster the past couple years with only a few good episodes thrown in with a bunch of crappy ones. But I never get tired of the old episodes even though I've probably watched most of them more than a dozen times. Just let it die so I have a good final impression, please!

I doubt they would change the name any time soon. The Scrubs syndication deal is really sweet, so sweet that each new episode they produce automatically gives them another million dollars in syndication revenue. If they change the name it becomes a new spin-off show and they would probably lose that deal (the same way Friends episodes are on all the time in syndication, but the Joey spin off never is).

Friends
has a library of 238 episodes. Joey has 46.

That's why it's not syndicated.

Cox's kid didn't really have much of an impact on the show. However, down the road (season 6 and onward) more and more of the focus switched to Turk/Carla trying to pump out kids, then JD having one of his own. Comedy = ruined at that point.

The Office is the single worst show on tv. I've tried to like 3 times and I just can't get into it. The script is horrible and the humor is just plain painful. It's a shame since I usually like Steve Carrell.

I've actually preferred Parks and Rec this year to the Office. Same premise, but with more LOLs. Give it a shot.
