My "zombie" kitty. She was found abandoned by a co-worker in a parking lot. When her new landlord told her she would be limited to four cats, the co-worker begged me to take her in.

Strangest cat I've ever seen. Doesn't jump up on furniture, it took her two weeks to associate a can opener with food, and to groom all that Maine Coon cathair, all you have to do is hold the brush and she'll rub against it.

Could one of you folks caption her?

Ironic thread. I'm picking up my new Maine Coon kitty "Diva" tomorrow (hopefully). My 18 year old Maine Coon had to be put down in late June.

There is a story behind this pic, which is why I wanted to share it and I think it is funny not sad.

The tabby and the black cat are brothers. Jeff (the tabby) is the good kitty uncle who takes care of the kittens who come in and go out of my house. He grroms them and teaches them all good kitty things.
Mr. Thumbs on the other hand is the bad uncle who teaches the kittens to rough house, smoke, drink etc.

Well we got this litter of 3 in and they couldn't have been more than 4 weeks old and had been found abandoned in a box by someones barn a week earlier. The woman who had them couldn't take care of them and brought them to us.

They were all weak and emaciated but this little tortie and white was in terrible shape. very weak and dehydrated she had to pretty much be force fed.

We had them down running around and Mr. Thumbs started in. Well Jeff, being the good kitty daddy he is, as you can see by the image, told him to knock that shiat off in no uncertain terms.

Sadly she was only with us for a day. We were able to rehabilitate her littermates who are terribly photogenic and their pics will follow.

This is my BF's kitteh, Sassy. She's a lynx point meesie, affectionate and very smart. (Some of you may recall me telling how she NOMmed his bluetooth headset--I think she thought it just needed REAL teeth. ;) Anyway, she requests capshuns, pls! She also asked me if I would capshun her first, so I did my best.
