No it isn't. What is hard is coming up with something that is both original and genuinely useful to people. Most people have to work very hard to accomplish that. A few luck into it now and again, but they are the very rare exception and if they want it to last long they have to either put the work in anyway or hire someone to do it for them. In the end, like everything else, there really are no shortcuts.
