Snakeophelia: Kelly can be a guy's name too.

My first husband's name was Kelley. It was quite funny how many people jumped to the conclusion that I was a lesbian when I talked about who I was dating. The extra "e" makes the name masculine (at least in the tradition of Beverley, Shelley, Ashley, Tracey, Stacey, all of which could be men's names in the South).

Don't forget Shirley. The guy for whom this award (new window) is named hired me for my first part-time job. (Drawing in Greek letters and other symbols in a typewritten manuscript.)
