The owner would probably know a thing about big boxes.

FTFA: "That's it," Marie says. "That's pretty much all that goes on here. Is it really that bad?"

It is that bad when it's Creepy McUggy coming up behind you and 'nuzzling' your neck. Bleh.

Owner says his swingers club is harmless fun, neighbors worry big box stores whores will lower property values

Fixed that for ya subby.

But if your looking to buy a place next to a swinger's club, wouldn't that help increase property values?

sven_kirk 2009-07-19 10:37:07 AM
Gunderson: I would be worried that any type of club would be opening up near me honestly. That would mean that I would be real close to a commercial zoned area. And that equals noise, noise, and more noise.

FTFASwingers, says one long-time 4-play member, "are the gays of the 21st Century. People hate us and try to stop us doing what we like to do."

Aren't gays the gays of the 21st century? I'm glad their struggle for acceptance is over for this person. Must be a relief.

I live a block away from a commercial zoned area- I'm surrounded by them, actually. My neighborhood is as quiet as can be. It's lovely.

tiamet4: I'm glad their struggle for acceptance is over for this person. Must be a relief.

To be fair, two decades ago, gays mostly met in underground clubs. "Openly gay" didn't exist. While I think it's some hyperbole, the analogy isn't entirely inaccurate.

I thought somebody tried to say atheists were the "new gays"? I thought I saw a study that indicated people were much more likely to elect a homosexual to office than an atheist.

/both a swinger and an atheist, so getting a--
//no, actually living in quiet, hidden shame. :-(

FTA:
A man explains that here, the women call the shots. It's entirely up to them who they have sex with, and any man who is disrespectful or too pushy is quickly shown the door.

So, um what's the point, then? Really, to me the only bar worth going to is where you can walk up to any woman you see, take her by the ear to someplace private, do your business with her, and then walk away, unobligated.

/unfortunately, this place will never exist.

Two decades ago? Yes "openly gay" most certainly DID exist. Even in a small city in the South, it existed two decades ago.

The place pays property taxes. Their clients probably don't block driveways or park in yards. The place doesn't generate noise that can be heard outside. It beats a mega-church!

As someone who just went to a swinger party Saturday night in an upscale, suburban DC neighborhood, I'm really getting a kick out of these replies.
