I was eyeballing one of those on the Turnpike the other day, I had a thought that it might be a bad idea if it comes whipping off at 80 mph. Hope she pulls through OK.

Jamrock: swahnhennessy: 36 year-old with a 19 year-old daughter. Ouch.

That's life. At least he's taking care of his daughter

Who knows if he's taking care of her, but you gotta give some credit for them being in the same car together at this point.

FTA...A 19-year-old Jersey City woman is in critical condition this afternoon after a mudflap brace from a tractor trailer flew through the car windshield and struck her while her father was driving north on Routes 1 & 9 in Kearny at around 10 a.m. this morning, Kearny police said.

Also, the article headline refers to her as a teen. Submitter fails Reading Comprehension 101.

If this was back in the day it's be 24 year old parent with a 12 year old kid...

just sayin'

17 or 18 used to be considered a late age to start breedin'

When, 800 AD?

My first girlfriend had her first kid at 11. Don't look at me like that, I met her when she was 7. Didn't date her till she was 18 and the kid could wipe himself.

And at no point did any red flags go up?

No, more recently...like the late 19th century. When the life expectancy was early 50's.
Seriously. Go read some novels from that late Victorian era. All the girls getting engaged and married in those books were 13, 14, 15 years old, and were lucky to survive childbirth.

/English major
//had to read all those boring novels
///did you know someone re-wrote Pride and Prejudice to include zombies??
