I blame al qaeda.

However, the flowers were sucked into the plane's engine causing it to catch fire and explode.

Not the kind of engagement the bouquet is normally associated with.

Looks like the plane got married, after all.

...To the side of the hotel.

Heh.

When I saw the headline and the source, I thought it was gonna be another "Nanny State" issue...especially with the "Stupid" tag.

/Anybody else think that?

If the bride marched to "Canon in D" then they totally deserved the disaster.

The bride and groom had hired a microlight plane...

What a microlight does look like.

www.alitravelstheworld.com

But about 50 people who had been in the hostel escaped unscathed, as did the pilot.

I'm shocked.

/not really

Do you mean getting married or the whole flower thing?

Airbus / Scarebus continues its ritual un-prosecuted pre-meditated killing of passengers world wide. From forcing tsunami destroyed countries to buy Scarebus to get aid, to failing the A380 150% wing-loading test, Scarebus builds on its reputation for falling out of the sky. FL35, cruise and it "breaks up". Nice. Good planes.

Yikes - I went to Livorno - nothing to see. That would have been exciting.

My bestfriend just got married and marched to Canon in D. Then I had to deal with getting her bouquet preserved - she forget before she left for the honeymoon. That shiat is expensive!

/getting a kick, etc..

The bride should soo sue that clod Mr. Pensieri for ruining her wedding day and taking the spotlight from her.

What about a Canon in D remix? This will be played at my wedding, in a couple months.

It's cliché, sure, but which part of a wedding isn't?

/at least it's not an R Kelly remix

There has to be a video of this.

You just don't hire a plane to throw flowers at your wedding and not record it for posterity. (a picture?)

She must have a hell of an arm.

Sigh... 2009-07-15 12:19:11 AM
I will add that to my increasingly lengthening list of why not to get married...again.

Gyrfalcon [TotalFark] 2009-07-15 01:40:17 AM
Plane. Phooey. I want a bouquet to bring down the space shuttle.

Kids?

Just... go to the fuc*ing church and say the words and get married and serve some rubber chicken and cold duck and go home.

Stop trying to turn your weddings into Busby Berkley movies or somebody's gonna get kilt and DAT ain't no way to remember a wedding.

Yaunnastan whamsay'n, heah?
