Saw one of these on a scuba dive - trust me you hear tuba music when you figure out what that funny looking rock is. Same day I learned that you can almost walk on water in full scuba gear.

Drew,

I need you to make a news prediction about me winning the powerball jackpot this week.

Please.

Yours truly, for a 50% cut

why is everybody always so surprised when a shark is spotted off Long Island? There's tons of sharks out here, especially on the eastern end. Hence Frank Mundis creating the shark fishing industry in Montauk. Protip: If a place is the hometown of the guy who the captain from Jaws was based on, there's probably sharks there.

But you know what's on my mind right now? It AIN'T the coffee in my kitchen, it's the dead shark in my garage.
Jules: Oh, Jimmie, don't even worry about that...
Jimmie: No, No, No, No, let me ask you a question. When you came pulling in here, did you notice a sign out in front of my house that said Dead shark Storage?
Jules: Jimmie, you know I ain't seen no...
Jimmie: Did you notice a sign out in front of my house that said Dead shark Storage?
Jules: [pause] No. I didn't.
Jimmie: You know WHY you didn't see that sign?
Jules: Why?
Jimmie: 'Cause it ain't there, 'cause storing dead sharks ain't my farking business, that's why!

The_Sponge: Does anyone else remember a cartoon about a seal....where he was avoiding all kinds of dangerous sharks?

/IIRC, a basking shark tried to eat the seal.
//WTF?

The White Seal? A Chuck Jones cartoon out of Kipling's Junglebook? Had the Sea Cow as the ugliest thing in the ocean?

read it harder. Frank Mundus, is from Long Island, he created the shark fishing industry basically. All signs point to there are sharks there.

This is an example of a shark caught off the coast of Montauk. 20 ft. Great White good enough for ya?
