SupremeLeader: Soon this great nation will be de-Christianized.

Never, not in your wildest dreams. If anything, this country is becoming stronger in its duty to God, and again, you're going to have to find out the hard way when Palin (or her designee) becomes the 45th President of the United States, defeating Obama in the worst upset ever.

Mark my words, the Republicans will return with a vengeance, overturning the superficial yet horridly expensive Obama years. They will be a footnote in time.

But we're also aware that you liberals aren't going to relinquish your hold without a fight, and that's sadly your undoing. If you'd only do the honorable thing and realize that Mom and Dad are coming home and will see the mess you've made, and you will be sorely dealt with. That metaphor colorfully paints the spirit of the times, and just how fragile your short-lived control will prove.

And I'm always astounded at the overwhelming sense of denial in the liberal nomenclature. Seriously, take a look around you. HALF, yes HALF of the country is preparing to rally around Palin (or her designee) come 2012.

If you haven't figured out that this is basically a coup to stop America from becoming the next People's Republic, then I already knew you were beyond hope when you weren't rising to the occasion to defend Mrs. Palin and Mr. Nugent's efforts along with many others, John McCain, Newt Gingrich just to name a few. We're ready to turn the tables again.

Wellllll... this is technically a republic, and power ultimately rests with the people, so... whatcher point?

jdmac: Sorry buddy but going after a groups religion is a bad idea. In Fly over country and down south, Christianity is huge. Also, look at the mega churches and christian tv networks. The only way to de-christianize America would require Soviet style programs, and I do not think the progressive movement is that far down the road to serfdom.

Hey I am for concentration camps Nazi style for the Christians. They think they are going to a better place anyway, so might as well give them a hand.

To do any less would be well, Un-Christian of me.

cardex 2009-07-12 02:56:21 AM
Gosling: Well, we'll still be a majority Christian nation for the foreseeable future, so in the empirical sense, I disagree. In spirit, though, I get you. The religion will still be there; it's simply being de-emphasized.

i hope you are right its about time that we get back to the way this country was set up before the Christians farked everything up.

All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian, or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit.

I mean.... you really think so? Because, it's just... you know that you can't win an election by just believing really hard, right? Other people also have to agree with you. A lot of other people. Like... you can't have a minority opinion and still win, no matter how right you think you are.

I'm just sayin', man. The right-wing numbers really aren't there, so, I don't know where this landslide victory could possibly come from. Your persuasive arguments, maybe? Because... those might need work.

i don't hate her at all, Palin is one of the best things to ever happen to the Democrats. Half this country nearly elected her last time. Obama barely won, and that's without considering how the infamous Chicago-style political machine corruption might have come into play.

And Palin is not "stupid," she merely does not fit into your rather hippie-ish liberal world, she is a professional who isn't afraid to rally Americans around traditional values and methodologies. It's obvious that liberalism has taken this country down more than a few notches, and we will return to instill our sense of traditional conservatism and return to Christian values. That sir, does represent half of this country that feels they were cheated last November, and we are ready to take Washington again.
