I would really like the numbers on how many broken ankles and heels there were...

TrevorValentine 2009-07-11 02:57:38 PM
That one on the right looks like a dude.

boob_lady 2009-07-11 02:58:18 PM
Is that really a woman on the far right hand side of the picture?

FacelessDevil30 2009-07-11 03:00:37 PM
Let's take a look at the leader:

That's a MAN, Baby!

She has the pimp hand, too.

Man, talk about horrible for the feet, knees, and back.

Fooshards 2009-07-11 03:05:04 PM
I'm immediately reminded of the episode from The Boondocks where Huey says to granddad: "Can she run in high heels REAL FAST?"

bingethinker [TotalFark] 2009-07-11 03:10:03 PM
That head looks like a bad Photoshop. It's too big for the rest of the body.

krazydiamond 2009-07-11 03:10:24 PM
And it sure looks like they had a HEEL-y good time.

Wow, this guys not even trying.

I've seen a lot of shops in my days...

I'm betting somebody played a little joke on a friend.

That makes my feet hurt just thinking about it.

It doesn't look like it, but the lead it has is largely due to the beautiful running form. Look at those hands cutting through the air. The slags in the back running with rocks stand no chance.

lest we forget that these are british "ladies"...

From the very very short article:

The barmy participants were taking part in the Glamour Stiletto Run in Berlin, Germany.

Seriously, what, was the article too long to hold your attention span or is the American grasp of geography that tenuous?

Yeah, that was awful. He could have at least gone for "heel of a good time."

Hey, the Germans lost World War II. It's not our fault they haven't learned English yet.

SOMEBODY should host an annual bikini run, sort of like that Axe commercial.

drewsclues 2009-07-11 04:54:55 PM
has anyone mentioned that the person on the right half of the photograph looks more like a man than a woman?

Qatmandu 2009-07-11 05:02:25 PM
Came for the Monty Python reference; not disappointed.

maddogdelta [TotalFark] 2009-07-11 05:52:53 PM
There was a local stiletto run (^), benefits for research on ovarian cancer.

I wonder if the one in the Sun is the same kind of deal...

rogue49 2009-07-11 05:54:28 PM
closer to what I was looking for...

let's see a bit less clothing, leave the heals
and have them charge after men

/god knows what they will do to the ones they catch up to, but it will be fun to watch...

SwiftFox [TotalFark] 2009-07-11 06:26:36 PM
Do they have to pay for the road damage?

I'm pretty sure this race is sponsored by podiatrists.

whatshisname 2009-07-11 06:51:50 PM
All their shoes were at least 7cm high and at most 1.5cm wide.

5/8" wide shoes? No wonder it was difficult.

It's sad to see the effect that steroids are having on stiletto racing.

The Flexecutioner 2009-07-11 08:15:20 PM
the front runner appropriately has a choker on to hide 'her' adam's apple.

JonnyBGoode 2009-07-11 08:26:32 PM
So... drag racing?

Mouser 2009-07-11 09:32:12 PM
So how many of them have taken the skill level in "Running in High Heels"?

/obscure?
