Levi Johnston is hardly a reputable character given his own attempts to cash-in. At the same time, Palin's resignation really makes no sense unless something hugely damaging was coming, or she needs the money. It certainly can't be a presidential campaign because this act has labelled her a quitter and she'll never overcome that. I guess if she does sign lucrative book deals or appears in a reality show that we'll know the answer one way or another. Any way, good riddance to her.

Because people like me enjoy watching a large political machine be continually compelled to react to the musings of a teenager in the media.
