When submitter said "bowl full" of penguin, I was hoping for some sort of stew.

This should be required for sessions of Congress. Whenever the fist-banging and shouting starts, the Sergeant at Arms brings out the Bowl o' Penguin, everybody says "Awwww" and goes back to work.

I'm from Nashville. We have to truck in the penguin supply so it usually isn't as fresh when they serve it here.

Nice! My sister works at that aquarium in the new jellyfish exhibit. Last summer I visited and got the grand, behind-the-scenes tour - I'm pretty sure I met and got to pet and feed most of the penguins mentioned. I remember Chaos - aptly named for sure. Their giant marine "fish bowl" (capacity over 600k gallons and a brazillion fish and other marine critters) is worth the trip by itself.

The area is also full of nice restaurants and suffers no shortage of attractive female humans. Would be a nice place to live if not for the mosquitos.

I'm from Atlanta, but I grew up outside of Chattanooga. I would say from a scientific perspective, the TN aquarium totally pwns the GA aquarium hands down. The experience itself is amazing, and the TN aquarium focuses on local ecosystems a lot more, it's really cool because you don't see that in many aquariums.

How come penguins don't get interesting ethnic names?

I saw the baby on Monday, well part of its lil flipper. The parents hid them under their bellies. The other penguins were like WTF is this plastic shield thing and that littleness there????

Freaking cute and amazing Aquarium. And the jellies are righteous...

toured the aquarium last thanksgiving,spent the night in chattanooga
and went to the aquarium. really is a very neat place. if your ever in the area and have a few hours to spare,check it out!
