I found four or five of those under a dead mouse my cat had left to, hm, dry in the sun. If they're running low on them in that state, they can pick some up in Ottawa.

No hold on, this is not some species that was obliterated by deforestation, or the building of a dam. Dinosaurs American Burying Beetles, uh, *had* their shot, and nature *selected* them for extinction!
