robsul82: You guys won one yesterday. We win one today, that's two in a row. We win one tomorrow, that's a called "a winning streak." It HAS happened before.

/everyone forgets that was in II, not the original

I love that line. That, along with Rube's "we're in the gal darn Major Leagues" speech keep running through my head as I watch the Mets go out there every day and play like a bunch of a-holes.

Definitely wasn't the greatest movie, but it was watchable with a couple great lines.

Which was the one that had Shane and Lem from "The Shield" as teammmates -- was that #3?

I would watch another Major League movie if it were a crossover with The Shield.

T.rex: The real 2009 Cleveland team is worse than the fake Major League team.

And neither are bad as the 2009 Washington Nationals.

You want a challenge? Fire up Baseball Mogul 2010 and try playing as the Nationals.

Hilarious thing to do: watch all the extras in the background of Major League- especially in the clubhouse scenes. Fantastic collection of mullets, cutoff shorts, and hilariously awkward hijinks.

Grey Street: eagles95: BTW....where are the Michelle Pfeiffer pics from that movie?

Dude, I think that movie only exists in your head. Michelle Pfeiffer was not in Major League.

Meant Rene Russo....my bad....its Monday and work is sucking.

Ugh. The only thing close to that challenge would be playing as the 2003 Detroit Tigers, when they lost about 120 games.

I'm all for Major League 4, so long as it ends with the Indians winning the World Series.

I mean, hell. It's pretty much the only way I'm ever going to see the Indians win the World Series in my lifetime.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa...whoa, Bob Uecker is still ALIVE??

This. I did not expect...

"Heywood leads the league in most offensive categories, including nose hair. When this guy sneezes, he looks like a party favor."

PsyLord: It's the only way that Bob Uecker and Corbin Bernsen can find work these days.

Um, Bob Uecker has a job.

Monty: Umm...no.
Harry: They don't call him the best colorman in the league for nothing, folks!

Ya know, it seems like most of the people from the original haven't been up to much lately, but that actually isn't true.

Charlie Sheen (Rick Vaughn) - pretty successful on 2 and a half men, highest paid person on a TV Sitcom

Tom Barenger (Jake Taylor) - Was on the TV Show October Roads, and also makes a TON of Indie movies, he's got 7 coming out this year alone

Corbin Bernsen (Roger Dorn) - Does pretty well with his supporting roll on the show Psych. Also does some Indy movies, mostly ones he writes, directs, and produces. Has 3 movies coming out this year

Dennis Haysbert (Perdro Cerrano) - Had a pretty good run on 24, and now has been the star of The Unit , which is in it's 4th season. Also does some movies here or there, has a movie with Pierce Brosnan coming out later this year

Wesley Snipes (Willie Mays Hayes) - Yes we know about the tax stuff, but he still keeps active. Was just in Brooklyns Finest with Richard Gere, Don Cheadle, and Ethan Hawke. Also has 3 other movies currently in production

James Gammon (Manager Lou Brown) - He's a million years old, but he still does one or two Big Budget movie a year to keep active.

Chelcie Ross ( Eddie Harris) - Keeps busy with guest rolls in TV shows, and supporting rolls in movies, most recent movie was Drag Me to Hell

The only main person from the original movie who hasn't done anything in a while is Rene Russo. She hasn't made a single movie or TV appearance in 4 years.

I thought Back to the Minors was surprisingly entertaining for an essentially straight to video second sequel. My 2 1/2 year old son enjoys it as it is baseball

Washington...
First in War,
First in Peace,
Last in the NL East.

If the reviews make it seem anywhere near as good as the 1st, I'll definitely watch it. Maybe even buy it. The 2nd, it may be download-worthy. The 3rd, well, I won't reveal my plans just yet. They may void my insanity plea and could act as evidence that my actions were pre-mediated
