He's going to be in it? I heard they're moving this into another canon, so he doesn't exist but Adrian Zmed does..and still has a career doing Bachelor Party 5 or something.

Chris Pine, call your agent.

That would kill Shatner for good.

I saw a video parody of Rescue 911 once. Information 411. A Shatner imitator, operators, actors, interviews, etc, recreating the story of a guy who had to buy something, didn't remember the name of the store, whatever. Done in the style of the Rescue 911 episodes.

TJ Hooker just wouldn't be the same with out The Man and his patented Shatner Pause.

A universe without Shatner? I can't abide by that.

Seems to me that either mods or practically everyone who posts on this site is out of ideas too.

Same headlines. Same WHARGARBL religion/MJ bashing/"get off my lawn" worked over lukewarm "Old News is SO MUCH FUN" postings ...

*sigh* this used to be a good site ...

It's so cliched to complain about people who complain about cliches. And few things are more cliched that Farkers complaining that this site "isn't like it used to be." I first read that one in 2002.

I also like that Keyboard Cat.

It was on the Ben Stiller Show. Andy Dick was the customer and Jeneane Garofolo was the operator. He was looking for clogs, if I remember correctly.

Sorry, I forgot that this is where the same people who watch Star Trek reruns in their parents' basements hang out and hang out and talk about the same 14 things over and over.

Megan Fox is so HOT!
What? No new Dr. Who shows?
Transformers 2 was AWESOME!

//SLASHIES

Oh, and HOLLYWOOD IS OUT OF IDEAS! BABYLON 5; THE NEVERENDING STORY next on the big screen!

I know I'm supposed to feel hurt and ashamed from the scorching burn you just laid down, but all I can think of is how awesome a well-done Babylon 5 movie would be.

This is totally unfair. With YouTube, you can watch Star Trek reruns pretty much on your phone anywhere nowadays. But the signal is terrible in Mom's basement.

You win the "Colombo" award Poindexter! No possibility of another account created before then, huh?

Yes, he does. He gets the special kind with the candy sprinkles. If he's a good boy, he can get the official "Transformers" yogurt to match his footy pajammies that Mom just washed for him.

Not being within the obsessively coveted 15-25 age range (hell, nor even the slightly less coveted 25-35 age range) I'm not blind to the fact that Hollywood studios don't need (or particularly want) my movie-going dollar, but shiat like this has GOT to eventually drive away enough of the members of those two age ranges to make production chiefs at least momentarily second guess themselves over greenlighting pabulum like this, right?

/seen 3 (major) Hollywood-studio-produced/distributed films in so far this year.

2 more than during the entirety of last year.

Might see "Avatar" (if its playing in the local 3-D-projection-equipped theater where I just saw "UP" last weekend).

Oh, yeah. Pretty common fantasy, that. I never said she didn't look hot in the cop uniform, either. She really was the only reason to watch that dreck. We definitely need a Locklear cameo if this film is going to get off the ground.

Manimal? Automan? STREET HAWK??

Oh, I love you guys. I really do. I'm having an '80s flashback right now. But we have to throw in Airwolf as well. Because that would ROCK.

That said, isn't T.J. Hooker a bad idea right now? Even if they got Shatner to play the role, the show was nothing but really awful tripe. It could only exist in the '80s because the worldview was so simple: cops = good. Old cop knows everything. Everything that seems to be right-wing propaganda. And Shatner hammed it up so it was just even more insane. I don't see how it could work unless it was a comedy, ala the movie version of Dragnet.

But if we're bringing back Shatner, bring back Zmed. Come on, the man hasn't worked in anything more high profile than a Jack-in-the-Box for decades now.
