I saw the trailers for this earlier this evening, and thought the movie looked pretty good. The trailer on apple.com was even funnier. But now that I know Eminem is in it, I want to stab my eyes out with a fork.

That was the unintentionally funniest juxtaposition I've ever seen in a movie. It totally ruined the movie for me.

Adam Sandler AND Eminem? Apatow just got so much air over that shark.

This is hilarious, because I had a vision of Marshal Mathers starring in a Judd Apatow esque buddy movie opposite Steve Guttenberg.

Eminem plays a struggling rapper that needs to make it cross country to get into the big Rap Battle. Steve Guttenberg plays himself, a washed up actor trying to make it big on the competitive DDR circuit. Eminem, a little dense, thinks Guttenberg is actually his character from the Police Academy films, and complains that he "don't want to ride with no cop".

I'd love to strangle Apatow until his head pops off. You know, to show him what his work means to me and civilization as a whole.

To be fair, anything he's actually directed has been excellent. He is the man who gave us Freaks and Geeks after all. But the stuff he produces is shiat. He basically lets his name get slapped on damn near anything as a producer.

Eric Bana is good in every movie he is in, even if that film is the shiattiest piece of garbage ever put on screen.

Adam Sandler is a surprisingly good dramatic actor. And Billy Madison is one of the funniest movies ever. His comedies peaked with that movie.

One really doesn't need to act in a comedy movie. Sometimes, since the comedy is so absurd, the lack of convincing acting is what makes it funny.

Norm MacDonald knew this, and he took it to the extreme. Frank Stallone, not so much.

Bana's a comedian, not a serious actor. Jeez. He sucked in everything but The Castle.

For some of his better work, look for a tv show called Full Frontal, and the sketches within starring a character called Poida.
