It was back in the early 60s, when I was about 11 that I saw my first bikini -- and it wasn't the shorts-like 50s version. I still recall today that the woman was about 5 feet tall, all interesting curves, maybe 23 years old, with black hair and that nice, compact figure. Her bikini was black and fit her real nicely.

My dad thought so also, though my mom wasn't as thrilled. We were picnicking at the beach when she appeared out of nowhere. She got my attention real fast and my Dad kinda had to sneak peeks as my mom's face promptly settled into that disapproving look that husbands everywhere were soon to find familiar.

I thought the bikini was great! I thought the woman wearing it was hot!

By the time I reached my teens, the local beaches were full of surfer chicks in bikinis and us horny school kids -- the guys anyhow -- thought we would explode.

I have noticed over the past 10 years that the bikini went from being something worn only by relatively attractive people, or attention whores, to something that is acceptable to be worn by anyone.

I was a biatchubby through most of my teen years and would never have dreamed of wearing a bikini. I'm a decent size 4-6 now, and even still I sometimes think that a bikini is not really for me. Yet if I wear a one-piece to a beach or pool I am 99.9% of the time the only one doing so. I've gradually become more comfortable with it, but don't know what day everybody woke up and decided it was appropriate to let their rolls hang out.

Hosting doesn't always help either. Particularly if you host on Photobucket (as each photo posted by me has been). Since the turning of the new year, 1/3 of the 12,000 plus of my photos have been deemed offensive and summarily deleted by their mods. And nary a one of the purged pics contained sweat, piss, sh*t, jizz, expletives, viscera, exposed pubic hair or genitalia or nipples, blood or anything else that could be objectively considered explicitly sexual or offensive. This arbitrary purgin' is most vexing.

Can anybody recommend a pic hosting site without mods with purely arbitrary purgin' mindsets?
