I could hear this going on from my house. Zombies walking by all day, some stopping by and wandering into the yard (Chased them off with a croquet mallet). Parking impossible. Loud stage announcer going on and on that we could hear throughout the neighborhood.

You know what? Good. It gives me a warm glow to know there's people having good, clean, weird fun just down the hill. We're used to it in Fremont and I'm all for it, most of us in Fremont are because we like it freaky. It's a good neighborhood that way.

You're missing the point. Being a zombie hunter is fun in theory but as the police tend to frown on your going about bashing people on the head at random prior to any real zombie invasion, no one will really understand your costume without explanation, which makes it kind of lame.

Covering yourself in gore and tattered clothing and lurching about on the other hand is quite fun!
