How is have a mild bout of the swine flu and missing a few days of work even come close to almost killing him?

That being said, it appears that the majority of those who died of swine flu had pre-existing conditions that caused complications.

Or Mexican health care. Which I guess you'd have to mark as a pre-existing condition.

Why pick on Rupert Grint, submitter? He is the best-cast actor in the series.

I'm still having problems accepting the name "Rupert Grint".

As a name for a character in the Harry Potter series, yes. As the name of a real living human being? Not really.

Sounds like a standard British name. If anything, its not British enough. Now something like Nigel Fontlebottom III, Esquire or maybe Buckminster Pebblecobble or something would be better.

Or Oliver St. John-Mollusc.

Him, and somehow they managed to find the one Chinese girl in the world with a Scottish accent. Grint is easily the best of the kids, by a long shot.

Grint's worth seeing in the movie Driving Lessons, by the way (it also has excellent work by Lauren Linney and Julie Walters, Ron's mother in the Potter movies).

Honestly, did you even bother to read the rest of the comments? I mean, there is only a couple of dozen. If there was over 300, I could understand, but you were just being lazy.

YOU LOSE. GOOD DAY, SIR!

I was much too distracted by the Hermoine pics. Sorry.

"Mild bout" == "Almost killed"?

Just do the same thing you do when you get a regular flu: Don't grind yourself into the ground and support your body as it fights the germ off.

Gosh, I hope someday Fark publishes a headline about Desmond Tutu in which he says "I hate the White man as much as I loves me some White Wimmin."

/Swine flu will probably end up killing millions as it will probably mutate to a more deadly strain, move around the world in record time due to lax medical standards, then kill tens or hundreds of millions before we know what we have.
/But headlines like these might save a few hundred million

Hahah those pics are awesome.

I for one hope Swine Flu doesn't mutate. If it mixes with seasonal flu, it stands the chance of becoming like seasonal flu.

Bathia_Mapes: That being said, it appears that the majority of those who died of swine flu had pre-existing conditions that caused complications.

Actually, 33-50% of swine flu deaths are perfectly healthy, young people.

Dr Margaret Chan, Director-General of the World Health Organization - June 11th 2009:
"it is important to note that around one third to half of the severe and fatal infections are occurring in previously healthy young and middle-aged people."

Your comment would have been much more dramatic if you said billions of people will die rather than hundreds of millions.

I love the quality control on these titles that try to attract an audience using one cast member. He looked nothing like that in Thuinderpants (that's him on the left of the trio in the corner)

/Patrick Smash lives in Dover
//we had the premiere at our (then) new cinema in Ashford, with Patrick making a guest appearance
///20 people turned up

Isn't the US almost double the swine flu cases of Mexico? The reported cases, anyway...
