I agree with everything you say, but I also recognize that, in a world where some people have literally sold their kids for sex, the concept of one putting their child in close proximity to a wealthy suspected child molester is not that far fetched. And it wouldn't mean the kids were not still victims. It just increases the number of people involved in victimizing the child.

I'm rather curious myself. As for "little on the eccentric side" I don't think yaoi or anyone else can name even one person more farked up.
