I show my kids episodes of the original Muppet Show all the time. As a result, the voices of the "new" muppet clips are just off enough to bug the hell out of me.

It's the same phenomenon I experienced when Mel Blanc died and I watched a "new" Bugs Bunny cartoon. The slight difference in the voice acting was like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I love the muppets, but as a band nerd, I think John Phillip Sousa is rolling over in his grave.

I think it is multiple flags hung downwards - therefore, since the blue is on the left side on a downward hung flag, it is still ok.

I couldn't watch that. Sam the Eagle's voice was all wrong. Besides, everyone knows that the Muppets ceased being funny when Jim Henson died. One might make an argument for "Muppet Treasure Island" or "Muppets From Space" (and Muppets Tonight had its moments), but we all know, deep down, they were just pretenders to the throne. This new stuff just isn't good. And it pains me.

I'm probably one of the biggest Muppet fans you'll ever meet. I firmly believe that "The Rainbow Connection" is the anthem of our generation (I'm in my 30s).
