I'll be the first to admit I'd admire cops more if they were more forthright with their donut weakness. Let's face it, in the end each paycheck is another few boxes of donuts and a place to sleep. If they dropped this 'saviour of humanity' crap and stopped sucking their guts in, one would find them quite human.

In the town where I grew up the donut shop actually did pay the cops in donuts. To make sure they had cops stopping by on the overnight shift the cops got donuts free. And if you went on a ride-along you too got free donuts. It was glorious.

Of course they weren't the only place. I swear we stopped about every hour for free food.

The employees are mainly high school and college age kids.

Probably working off their community service from their MIP, and trying keep on the good side of the law at the same time.\

Besides, everyone knows cops have the best weed. (except now it's legal for some of us and oh so much better!)

I think I would rather go to a donut shop run by cops, than one run by adult entertainment professionals.
