skykid: BTW has any one contacted East Side Dave for his thoughts on the matter?

Who?

bunner: Ringtailed79: Dude. Seriously. What on earth gives righties the idea that liberals are afraid of Sarah?

I'm gonna guess it's fat, takes a lot of dope, smokes cigars and harrumphs a lot.

I resemble that remark.

See the threads from the Anti-Letterman Protests which failed miserably.

If you're reffering to this guy though.

Earguy: Not mine. Really, no change at all outside of typical market fluctuation.

Yet. It's definitely coming.

*blink blink* what?

Yet. I'm putting the odds of a successful terror attack in the US within the next 3 years at 70%

Oh now you're just being silly.

Hey, it wasn't a bow, according to the White House.

Do you really think we'd be better off with Pres. McCain and Palin a heartbeat away?

Absolutely. McCain ran as a Socialist, but I don't think his goal was to destroy what makes America America. Obama is a Communist, and is actively working to destroy our nation permanently.

star_topology: Was ryebread's troll that subtle, or is he/she on everyone's ignore list?

He. And I apparently picked a bad time to get drunk and walk way from the thread... I abhor trolling, and I wasn't doing it in the message you replied to. I was 100% serious, and I stand behind my statement ("I'm incredibly happy that the media is covering Palin, instead of continuing to talk about Michael Jackson. Neither of them should really matter, but at least Palin could have some real influence").

That said, I'm sure there's a handful of people have me ignored, but it certainly shouldn't be for trolling (I have the tendency to do shots and say stupid shiat, but I'm no troll).

Sounds like a reasonable statement.

I heard about Michal Jackson dying, and I was like "Really? Huh." But I have no need for further information, and was mildly annoyed that coverage seems to have pre-empted Countdown and Rachel Maddow on some nights this past week. (I listen via audio Podcast rather than live)

Somacandra: Maybe you should drive: What infuriates me about Palin is how she exemplifies how education and intelligence are feared by so many Americans. Intelligence and education are ridiculed as "elitist" while mediocrity is praised. We should demand intelligence from our leaders. Instead, a significant portion of our population fears it.

This is pretty much it. What angers a significant portion of the American public (her negatives are high) is that she is the apotheosis of self-righteous, self-indulgent, self-obsessed mediocrity. This is the kind of person who shouldn't be elected dog catcher, much less Governor or President. Yet she is worshipped. By people who hold self-righteous, self-indulgent, self-obsessed mediocrity to be the ideal type of person.

This. This. A million times this.

Somewhere in Nevada I hope to all the gods there are
that my biatch of a mom is bawling her stupid cow eyes
out and that her 20 dollar mascara is running down the
gutters of the wrinkles in her face.

CRY, you biatch, CRY!!!!

CRY THE WAY YOU MADE ME CRY when you cornered me
and SCREAMED at me until I was barking-mad hysterical for
DARING to even THINK about criticizing Sarah Palin!!

libbynomore2: Sid_6.7: libbynomore2: Yes, you ARE!!!!! The worst of humanity.....that is you......

Hang your head in shame is what you should do!

But Palin said "screw political correctness". She wants us to call her baby a tard.

You fail on the facts and more so on the humanity.......clearly you are a liberal and thus have no conscience and no heart and love mocking a special needs child....therefore, you really need to STFU you cruel bastard.......

fock you you ignorant fock!

Speaking as a commie liberal:

Stephen Hawking has special needs. Trig is a plain-vanilla tard.

Euphemisms piss me off.
