Adam and Eve would be as close to "genetically perfect" as you could get. The argument against incest and the resultant kids are to prevent the genetic defects from multiplying and being amplified.

Are you suggesting that tolerance for polygamy or incest is any higher now than it was before states started legalizing gay marriage? Because I think you'd have a hard time showing that to be true (mostly because it probably isn't).
