Perhaps she should spend a little more time "nourishing her inner aspect" and a little less time being condescending to the country of her birth.

World to Gwenyth Paltrow: Get over yourself.

bwesb: I too have a deep affection for Spain and a few other nations as well, all great places to live/visit. None of them compare to home.

I pity this woman for having lost that sentiment.

Well put. I've been all over Asia and Europe...had a fantastic time just about everywhere, but I love coming back.

I Said: FTA: "It is so different from the United States. It seemed to have a history, and the buildings are years and years and years old. Here in the United States an old building is about 17 (years old), and over there it's from 500 B.C., it's incredible," she tells the Associated Press.

ok.
a) I don't think she understands history at all. American, Spanish, or world for that matter.
b) Hollywood, the place/industry which she is a part of, is a large cause for America's attitude that "new is always better"

It SEEMED to have a history?! It SEEMED to have a history?

Yeah she needs to stop talking and do something useful with that mouth of hers.

From TFA
"Also, the way people live over there. They seem to enjoy life a little bit more," she continued. "They aren't running around as much as in New York. They enjoy time with the family. They don't always have their Blackberries on."

OMG how could that biach say something so... um ... true? How... dare she?

Different places are different! Like, Spain DOES have a different pace of life on average. People DO have more time for their family (for example, paid maternity leave (new window), average number of days of paid vacation (new window)). That statement isn't even a slam on New York or the US. Stuff is different and I have a preference for A over B is just a statement.

What's next? ZOMG she prefers Vanilla over Chocolate, how dare she insult chocolate lovers everywhere! What a beyoch!

Maybe you should lighten up, Francis. She didn't say anything that bad at all. So she likes Spain, nothing to get a sandy vagina over.

Obviously Francis, you don't remember when she said THIS too:

"I love the English lifestyle, it's not as capitalistic as America. People don't talk about work and money, they talk about interesting things at dinner," she told "NS," the weekend magazine supplement of daily Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias on Saturday.

"I like living here because I don't fit into the bad side of American psychology. The British are much more intelligent and civilized than the Americans," the 34-year-old added.

Let's just hope next time Shatner's Bassoon remembers to speak when spoken to.

she's pretty repugnant
showed up on letterman awhile back covered in vaseline or something
during the break they made her wipe it off

she was still gross, just a lot less glisteny
