He just tied the Wisconsin guy is all. he also had 15 DUI's for some odd reason they didn't want to count the ones that happened before 1989.

To be fair, there are probably at least two different NJ people who have 15 DUIs and 78 violations. At least.

It takes 78 suspensions and 15 DUIs before someone thinks there's a farking problem!?

No, but I recently found out my friend in NC pays something like $20 a month for insurance on 2 cars. Until then I thought I was getting a good deal.

fta The 40-year-old East Rutherford resident admitted his blood-alcohol level was .288 percent, or more than triple the state's .08 percent level.

How the fark would he know what his BAC was? This guy needs a better lawyer.

A couple hundred bucks will buy you a beater to get you to the bar.

People need to realize that not all problems can be solved by arresting someone.

The case is public record. Apparently these reporters do some investigation before they write and article. It's new, not all reporters are doing it. Most of the time they just make shiat up.

I got a DUI when I was 22. I'll give you one. I'll even accept 2. after 3 you should never be allowed to even have a license anymore. 15? seriously? I'm sorry but that should be HARD time. "...2 year maximum sentence..." who the fark are you kidding, at 10 DUI's you should be put in prison for life, or preferably shot in the farking face. The real problem is drunk drivers are far better at killing innocent people than killing themselves.

I don't think you got my point. How the fark does the suspect know what his BAC was? You know, the guy who admitted it was .288%.

There's a term for it, and for some reason I can't think of the name of it... essentially, when pleading to a crime in court, you get to state exactly what it was you did. I'm thinking "elocution", but I'm not certain what the correct term is.

captron 2009-07-02 04:40:12 PM
That's what they do, buy a car that is cheap and plates are good for a few months or more and not change the title, otherwise have to show proof of insurance. Don't wanna spend money on insurance, need it for booze/drugs.

in washington state, the first dui is 60 days, the second is a year, the third is 5 to LIFE.

we're a bit more serious than Jersey.

Had a couple of friends move to Idaho, where driving sober is a crime.

esle_enoemoS 2009-07-02 05:34:54 PM
Is it just me, or does the headlines that the subby used seem off? You're supposed to raise, at minimum, double the original bet. So, instead of 15 DUIs, it's supposed to be 18.

mochunk 2009-07-02 06:18:56 PM
I once did some community service, not alcohol or driving related. You can't begin to imagine how many people there with me were on their 6-7th + DUIs. And also how many drove themselves there each day. IL isn't any better on letting them walk, and drive, repeatedly.

simpsonfan 2009-07-02 07:23:05 PM
Toss his drunken ass in prison where he belongs, take his cars. Better yet, shoot him, he is of no use to the wirld, we would be better off without garbage like that.

Drunk drivers who kill need to be executed for first degree murder, it is no accident.
