badgercam: badgercam: Why is he evil? Just because he has money and power? This stupid mindset that money = evil is silly.

Are poor people any more good or happy without money? NO!!

Wealthy people have money because they worked harder to get it than others.

equally silly assumption...
Paris Hilton, GW Bush, John Kerry etc... etc... etc... would like a word with you.

Somebody had to work for the money, ancestors, whatever... Money makes money. It doesn't matter if it's old money or new money.

I'm not making an assumption...

I'm just saying that don't automatically call people evil because they have money and buy things.

I agree that being rich doesn't make one evil, or even being born rich does that (some of those kids are under TREMENDOUS pressure to perform BECAUSE they have no excuses to fail, too).

But just because Paris Hilton's family made money doesn't mean she DESERVES it. Nor would I suggest it be taken from her; simply that she did nothing to earn it.

Apparently the depth of your knowledge about Murdoch's life and career is limited to "he's farking rich".

While he's inarguably an astute business man and has amassed a huge fortune, he's also the poster boy for modern yellow journalism. He has consistently lowered (or removed) the bar for journalism at every property he's owned over the past 30+ years.

What's interesting is that while he's most often accused of far right partisanship, a look at his history shows that he's more than willing to support liberals when it furthers his business interests.

Boberto: logruszed: So will the NYT now be flooded with spam from bands I've never heard of and women "in my area who saw my picture and think I'm cute"?

So not related...but those hookup pop-ups are the most hilarious thing, "Hey cutie, I'm in Canada too. Let's meet up." If it was actually a real person I would respond and tell them to go Dave's house, beside the Burger King. He has 2 Honda's, you can't miss it - it's in Canada.

I have a real browser. I know not of these pop-ups of which you speak.

Tits on page 3 of the NYT? It's more likely than you think.

He's just trying to match the NYT, let's not take that away from him.

I hope he buys it and extinguish its leftists agenda.

The Feds need to yank FOX's broadcast license immediately for violation of the public trust...these people have given a platform to advocates of terrorism against the people of the United States (see Glenn Beck's interview with former (!) CIA op Michael Scheuer:
