I saw someone get his portashiatter tipped over -- by his "friends," apparently -- at a concert in Philly. He came out angry and drenched in filth, but, amazingly didn't commit any justifiable homicides.

If my grandmother did that to me I'd beat her to death with a claw hammer.

My grandmother lives in Cambria county, in Emeigh. Central PA is depressing as hell to visit. It's like they stopped maintaining almost everything after the 50's, except the rare food franchise next to the interstate.

Porta John - wasn't he one of Robin Hood's merry men?

Thank you. Just because its not Philly or Pittsburgh doesn't make the rest of PA "CENTRAL". Damn that pisses me off.

I'll admit I did that once or twice when I was younger. One time it landed on it's side and the door swung open, but I didn't stay long enough to get a glimpse of the actual damage done to the inside. I feel bad now for the guy who probably had to clean that up the next morning .

If you really want to do the most damage to the porta john or the occupant, be sure to tip it onto its door. If you tip it on the side opposite the door, most everything will drain out the vent pipe. On the door, everything comes out the way it went in, and anyone unfortunate enough to be in there will have to think about how to get out instead of just going for the door. Bonus: getting out without help requires rolling the unit, which results in more poop coverage per square inch.

I used to work for a company that services these things. Worst. job. EVER.

As a product of Cambria county, I can say that it is officially "South-central-western PA." At least that's what WJAC used to call it. I just call it "that shiathole with Johnstown."

Chambersburg's? It's not like I have one handy, but here's one from the internet. It even looks like at the time of the picture no one had driven a car into it recently.

I don't understand. You're saying that shiathole with shiathole? Johnstown is a shiathole(especially the west end).

As far as I'm concerned, the only central PA counties are ones that share a border with CENTRE county. Aftre that you become western, south central, eastern, or north central. Discussion is futile, I have won with my superior logic.

Central PA isn't like that at all. It's been maintained and upgraded. Hell, we've even got an Apple Store in Lancaster.

The phenomenon you're describing is mostly Western and Northern PA. Try driving up 309 from Allentown to Scranton sometime and you'll see places like that. Or get off of I-80 at pretty much anywhere along its length.

Bedford CO.

Ah bedford co. Pronounced befferd by the locals. Also known as the land that time forgot. ACDC still tops the charts and the mullet/rat tail are very popular amongst the kids. Dental care is optional but being knocked up before the age of 14 isn't. The number of broken down cars in ones yard and the height of their truck's suspension are indicators of a high social status. I grew up there and now I refer to it as Bedforginia.
