I work part time at one of those venues in the operations area and to this day the Kid Rock show is still referred to with dread and infamy. Never has a crowd been so rowdy, misbehaved and generally out of control. Even though we had the above average number of security and police we were quickly overwhelmed.

Beer and liquor sales were off the charts for a crowd that size and never let up the entire time. We thought about cutting sales off early but saw what sort of issues occurred when a stand ran out of drinks (and restocking was running slow).

We had multiple instances of public nudity and sex acts going on in the seats, concourses and restrooms. Even the people in the luxury boxes were acting like fools.

I don't think I got home until 4:30am after that disaster.

We spent the next couple of days trying to Monday Morning Quarterback the thing and figure out what went wrong. While we did find a few lapses in our procedures, the general feeling among all the departments was that Kid Rock fans are some of the worst behaved rednecks and fools around.
