I think I lost 15-20 IQ points reading the headline.

For those not getting it:

Several decades ago, when the band The Who played in Cincinnati, tickets were sold without preassigned seats. Thus, madness ensued as the gates were flung open, and whoever could shove the hardest would get the best seats. Trampling ensued, with a number of casualties.

That said, I have no idea what the headline means either.

I came in expecting at least a Caruso pic, despite the all-caps spelling of Pete Townsend's band made to look like the World Health Organization.

I was at an anime convention in mid-June, and some teenager proposed to his girlfriend (also a teen) on stage in front of like 1,000 people in the middle of some lame comedy skit. I don't think you can get much more sad than that.
