Well, it was Tiger that took him to school.

Though, I'm willing to bet the next time Romo is here, he's going to be served another loss. This time at Redskins Park.

To be fair, last season he won in Washington, but lost to Washington at home.

Not bloody likely.

I know I'm just a lonely Giants fans who's lived inside the Capital Beltway for 29 years, but I'm pretty sure the Cowboys have never even seen the inside of Redskins Park.

Agree with the latter sentiment.

Nah, he doesn't truly collapse until the post-season.

Heh. Apparently poor Tony is a choke artist if he doesn't beat Tiger Woods now.

The best, though, was the guy in the Art Monk hat standing directly behind Romo on the 7th tee. "Hit it like it's December," the guy said.

That's awesome.

I hate the cowboys as much as anyone but he won in fedex field in midseason. He lost in the early part of the season at home.

//of course they won by running MBIII and not passing.

It must be entertaining for, say, the Falcons to watch the Cowboys lose in the playoffs in between games of golf.

See, what's funny is that Atlanta has been in a Super Bowl, an NFC championship, and won another playoff game (for a grand total of 4 playoff wins) since the Cowboys last won a playoff game.

Before the start of last season, Fox Sports Morning Radio host Steve Czaban brought up an interesting thought...

He essentially said: "(sic) To all you parents out there moving your HS graduates into college dorms this week, keep his in mind: The last time the Dallas Cowboys won a playoff game, your child had not entered Kindergarten. Your son or daughter has literally gone their entire academic career without the Cowboys winning a playoff game."

Interestingly, that did not change after last season.

Srsly guys, even the Redskins have won at least *a* playoff game in the last decade - and we're the laughing stock of the league!

The CARDINALS have played in the SUPER BOWL since the Cowboys last won a playoff game.

I don't care what anyone says, unless Romo wins oodles of Super Bowls, he will always be remembered as the dumbass who got freaked out by the Seahawks fans during the game-clinching field goal...and then sitting on the sideline with his head in his hands like an absolute chump.

/probably one of the best games I've seen for comic value
//and Romo shouldn't have thrown that ball to Terry Glenn

Hey when was the last time the Redskins won a Super Bowl? I'll give you a hint: The Cowboys have won 3 since then.

Bringing up shiat that happened in the past 13 (or 15 or 20 or 24 for you Bears fans) years is dumb because we've gone through players and coaches and staff yadda yadda. We were good in the mid-90's. Our good players got a little older and got phased out. We went through a daaaaaark period known as the "ChanCampoCarter" era (in my head)in the early aughts and now we're starting to get our shiat straightened out. Tony's only in his 3rd full season starting. It's not like he's been the only guy on the team for the past 13 years. Lighten up, tards.

Great. And the Redskins won three before that.

Point is, the media soils itself blowing the Cowboys day in, day out, when they haven't proven by their performance that they've been deserving of that attention (or scrutiny) for the last dozen years.

What's funny is noone ever said anything about the Falcons.. I'm a Steeler fan born n bred, so I was just talking a lil trashola on "America's Team" that hasn't won a playoff game since Clinton was President. But you keep on grasping at straws and we'll keep on winning playoff games (and a few Super Bowls).

Are you shiatting me? The media soils itself over the Pats and the Steelers. We got some extra attention when TO was here because, you know, he's TO. But mostly it's criticism and the same old retarded shiat you're saying. They don't "blow" the Cowboys. Give me a farking break.

Well, to be fair, both those teams deserve it. They win a lot.

And Romo may not be the best QB in the league, but he's better than most. If he were suddenly available, he would be snatched up in a second.

I think a lot of the media attention has to do with their Owner and their GM. They seem to invite every opportunity to be in the media.

Not many teams have their own ESPN reporter, so they should consider themselves lucky. Dallas has Ed Werder, Philly has Sal Pal, Miami has Hank Greenberg and the Pats have Wendy Nix (giggity). Am I missing anybody?

Sal Paolantonio seems to be mainly with the Eagles but will take the bus to NY if a big story is there.

It's actually quite easy. It's called watching other channels.

Jerry Jones is an attention whore. You'd be hard pressed to find someone to disagree with that statement.

And also, to those of you who seem to think that I just don't "see" the articles written about them, it will not surprise you to know that I get daily email news alerts. Any time "Dallas Cowboys" is mentioned, that story is sent to me. So yes, I do see what is written about them and it's pretty 50/50. However, I don't see what's written about other teams, so I can't really compare volume or objectivity team by team.

Awww thank you! I think you're pretty nifty, too. Actually, there are only a few real assholes that hang out on the sports tab. Most of these cats are pretty cool.

I'm not a huge Jerruh fan, either. It's a rare occasion that you'll find me defending him. I can think of twice. Well really, one and a half. That half was me neutrally telling everyone that they were overreacting. Personally, I'd prefer it if he'd STFU and hire a GM already.

The odd thing is, I like football better than baseball, yet the Sox winning in '04 affected me more than the Pats winning in '02. Go figure.
