YEAH baby:

Can anyone find anything in their kitchen that comes close?

Matt XE [TotalFark] 2003-02-21 11:51:30 AM
Isn't it unreal? I want to frame it.

DownSouth 2003-02-21 11:52:42 AM
That's over a pound of food. 1 pound=448 grams.

Matt XE [TotalFark] 2003-02-21 11:58:19 AM
Yup - it's something they're very proud of too, as they advertise the overall weight all over the box.

bump 2003-02-21 12:05:34 PM

I usually see this sort of thing in the litter box.

Peteykins 2003-02-21 12:17:17 PM
I am so getting one of these on my way home from work for tomorrow's breakfast.

DownSouth 2003-02-21 12:22:45 PM
Peteykins do you want to notify the hospital that you'll be in the morning now or just suprise them tomorrow?

Peteykins 2003-02-21 12:33:52 PM
We've got a nurse at work. I'll try to hold it in until then.

exick [TotalFark] 2003-02-21 12:53:22 PM
That is quite possibly the most disgusting meal I've ever seen. I feel fatter just by reading the article.

Sudie 2003-02-21 12:53:33 PM
Peteykins, make sure you wash it down with a Diet Coke.

Peteykins 2003-02-21 12:55:12 PM
I'll let everybody know how it....well, not how it comes out. You know what I mean. I can't wait!

candypants 2003-02-21 02:31:22 PM
I guess that's why most of Swanson's clientele resemble this fat farker

He has a butt for a chin, heh heh.

Chuckless 2003-02-21 02:31:29 PM
mmmmmmmmmmm.........saturated fat

larsoncc 2003-02-21 02:35:34 PM
As a VERY fat conscious person, I'd have to say that this is pretty sick.

Obvious, but sick.

The suprise that I've had in the grocery store is how fatty many of the vegetarian meals are.

larsoncc 2003-02-21 02:39:05 PM
For a good laugh, check out the menu at Don Pablo's.

Have fun eating there.

I asked Outback Steakhouse for information, you know what they told me?

And I quote:
"We make no nutritional claims about our products."

larsoncc 2003-02-21 02:41:26 PM
Damn, it threw away the link to Don Pablo's. Well, they've got the "nutrition" information out there, at any rate.

KickahaOta [TotalFark] 2003-02-21 02:49:56 PM
I don't think I've ever seen a printed "Calories" figure with a comma in it before.

My stomach just threatened to seek asylum in Canada.

larsoncc 2003-02-21 03:04:35 PM
OK, I dug up some Don Pablo's stuff. How do you have Nachos with over 100g of fat?? This steakburger is pushing 2 days worth of fat, on a 30% fat diet.

Acapulco Nachos 1 order 104g fat
Pablo's Steak Burger 1 order 99.96g fat
Conquistador 1 order 87.6g fat
Chicken Fajita Enchiladas 1 order 80.7g fat

I eat less than 18 grams a day. Just for some perspective on what this looks like to me. I used to go out to DP about once every 2 weeks. No wonder I was such a fat ass.

DownSouth 2003-02-21 03:30:25 PM
I guess they use Crisco instead of sour cream.

wldncrzy14 2003-02-21 06:20:13 PM
Anybody had a Marie Callendar(sp?) TV dinner? Damn, those are good.

Peteykins 2003-02-21 06:57:01 PM
Well...I got it! It's in my freezer. Can't. Wait.S

Foaming [TotalFark] 2003-02-21 07:50:24 PM
LOL. Of the two paragraphs I actually read, one of them (under the pancakes) said this:
My hope is that you're not really reading the article, moreover just scanning through while looking at the pictures and judging how good the article must be based on the general length of the paragraphs you skip.

So does that nutritional info include the butter & syrup you put on the pancackes or does that bump it up a bit more.

sick_mother_farker 2003-02-21 08:10:33 PM
What i like to do is heat up a "Hungry Man" and throw it directly in the toilet. It cuts out the middle man and you don't get those aggravating anus sores.

ricardomontalban 2003-02-21 10:45:16 PM
i dunno if it's true or not, but starbucks's caramel chocolate latte is supposed to have something like 4,000 calories.

it explains the preponderance of adipose tissue surrounding my ass.

FishBulb 2003-02-21 10:59:14 PM
No way. I had a link to a bunch of nutricinal info for various restraunts and Starbucks didnt have anything nearly that bad. I think the new Creme frapachinos were like maybe 700 calories and lots of fat, but 4000? No way.
I mentioned Starbucks so you can now rag on me, and that establishment because they both suck. Go ahead.

zenmaster 2003-02-21 11:48:53 PM
You couldn't get 4K calories out of a caramel chocolate latte unless its only ingredients were powdered sugar and lard. Even then, it'd be one tremulous sized cup.

zenmaster 2003-02-21 11:57:06 PM
I looked at the Don Pablos info. Ever wondered about those yummy Beef Fajitas?

Fat: 180% of daily allowance
Saturated Fat: 285% of daily allowance

Yow!

FishBulb 2003-02-22 12:17:55 AM
Ive never heard of Don Pablos.

coachwdb 2003-02-22 12:18:44 AM
Make fun of Hungry-Man all you want, but that new XXL 1.5 pound dinner is the BOMB!

irockalot 2003-02-22 12:19:41 AM
So? I'm a hungry man. Not just any meal with statisfy my manly appetite. So, i go for "Hungry Man." Afterwords, my complexities wear down, and i'm just man. No pansy-ass Jenny Craig shiat's gonna do that.

irockalot 2003-02-22 12:21:44 AM
with = will , me need hungry man.

DannySpaz 2003-02-22 12:24:14 AM
okay, this is their first article i laughed at.

*I* give em props.

btw, my fav burger....double whopper (i think the link workz)

ScreechGotsTaGetFonky 2003-02-22 12:24:32 AM
Like this is a shock to anyone? Christ, look at the amount of food. Do people actually eat bacon and sausage at the same meal? I'm not saying this thing actually has anything that would be considered either, but really. I've had microwaved pancakes before too. I doubt they changed the recipe and having said that I'd say those things resemble Frisbees more than they resemble actual food. I think the only thing missing from the review was the price. Dare I ask how much one of these costs (my guess is that you could get breakfast at a diner or restaurant and come out ahead in money and nutrition.

Cheesus 2003-02-22 12:24:54 AM
Mom bought shiat like this for me to eat all the time because she didn't feel like cooking. I've lost quite a bit but I'm still a fatass. Thanks mom!

skinink 2003-02-22 12:25:26 AM

My usual daily breakfast:
Glass of water, Marlboros, Medium regular (regular meaning cream and sugar) Dunkin' Donuts coffee, maybe with a ham egg and cheese croisant on occasion.

And why I'm not dead, I don't know, but at 34 yrs old, 5'9" and 145 lb, Jared has nothin on me. Should all this suddenly kill me, the first farker who can claim it can have my computer. Just leave the cannolis.

schmack 2003-02-22 12:27:12 AM
wow the bulk of TotalFark posts on this thread gives the weight of that breakfast a serious run for its money.

Swanson's new breakfast takes it to a level which previously could only be achieved by eating entire alternate universes made only of prosciutto.

that
is a witty line. good article

GojiraXP 2003-02-22 12:27:17 AM
Yea but their Riblets are the shiznit

/old skool Quake player

andonbray 2003-02-22 12:27:30 AM
Man, just looking at those pictures make me want to go drop the kids off at the pool.

MidnightJim 2003-02-22 12:29:18 AM
If it's good enough for Booker T., then it is good enough for me.

Didn't need all those damned arteries anyway...

TommyLobo 2003-02-22 12:29:36 AM
Perhaps an aquired taste, but I eat the regular sized versions of the sausage, egg, and hashbrick one all the time. The bacon ones suck as it's three half slices of shaved fat.
The eggs aren't that bad if you don't think of them as eggs.

"We call it 'The Good Morning Burger'!"

God-is-a-Taco 2003-02-22 12:30:06 AM
Hungry Man is people, Hungry man is people!

Quick1 2003-02-22 12:30:31 AM
"I know what I like, and I like to hit it."

I'd photoshop it, but I suck at it. I'll leave that for someone else.

dying_one_day_at_a_time 2003-02-22 12:32:11 AM
y'know, this article might make me reconsider my position of not reading the articles...it was actually pretty damn funny.

irockalot 2003-02-22 12:32:12 AM
Seriously though, we need more oh-my-god-that's-farking-fat fatty foods. I'm 21 years old, 130 lbs., and i can't gain weight know matter how much i eat. (and yes, my cholesterol is just fine.) Am i missing out on something?

ZTigerX 2003-02-22 12:33:27 AM
I laughed my ass off at that article. I really don't think that eggs are supposed to be chunky and powdery.

dying_one_day_at_a_time 2003-02-22 12:34:19 AM
Irockalot
Stop mainlining H and you might add some pounds...

Just a suggestion...

PokeyMon 2003-02-22 12:34:52 AM
Sorry South, but any dope dealer knows that an elbow is 454 grams. One oz.=28.375 grams.

dying_one_day_at_a_time 2003-02-22 12:35:17 AM
Of course, any implication that Irockalot uses illegal and illicit drugs is purely speculation and meant for entertainment purposes only.

andonbray 2003-02-22 12:35:27 AM
Irockalot - The only thing you are missing out on is a few more years. I was the same way until I hit 26. Then my metabolism slowed and I actually started having to watch my diet, boose intake, and drug use.

Halah 2003-02-22 12:35:59 AM
But for people who can safely walk on the second floor? You may wanna stick to the Pop Tarts.

OK, that one made me laugh.
