It's not like $4500 is a big chunk of money for Bruce. He's just doing the right thing by not being a douchebag. Good publicity and all that.

Bruce isn't the one paying, the organizer of the concert is.

But, like the article said, he did the same thing for McCartney and was paid back.

I saw a clip on YouTube of him singing "The '59 Sound" with The Gaslight Anthem at the same festival. Soooooo much win.

Bruce Springsteen is the boss and Max Weinberg is the bomb. Silvio Dante is the man.

It's Bob Dylan. He's afraid he didn't make his point with "Tweeter and the Monkey Man"

Springsteen had 3 good songs. Unfortunately, Manfred Mann did them better.

a curfew? For adults? Sucks to live there.

I like Bruce's politics. I like Darkness on the Edge of Town. I like 6 of the eight tracks on Born to Run. Now, go away for fark's sake.

Likely, it was a sound ordinance. I play the Jersey Shore , and you MUST stop playing at 10PM if your gig is at an outside venue.

I don't give a shiat about that kid who was so cute singing ABC 123 and had a sister on Good Times, but I'm not a huge Bruce fan either - nevertheless, I do have some respect for him. He's not my favorite, but he is a decent musician and songwriter and if he wants to play an extra 45 minutes, anyone who complains should not have showed up in the first place.

Love him or hate him, at least he gives the people their monet's worth. Can't say that about too many any other acts.

Quote fail, I did of course mean to call creating a nuisance a dribbling spastic.
