Nice. Really liked an album of his called "Sweet Soul" which if anybody has actually heard of I would be absolutely shocked. Great record, huge influence on me. That may sound strange a bass player citing a horn player as a huge influence.

Dizzy was the man. I thoroughly enjoyed his appearances on Ed Sullivan and Johnny Carson.

I have that album sitting literally right next to my keyboard. It's not my favorite of his but I've never disliked anything he played. My favorite is probably Diz 'N Bird at Carnegie Hall.

That video rocked by the way. There's a lot of great video of Diz.
