Twice,
Three times I had to get up in the middle of the night to pee...

Go look up early Lionel Ritchie pictures..
and then look up current ones.

The brotha found the fountain of youth.. looks better now than he did 25 years ago.

So, what does Walter Orange say about this? He's the one that matters, not the money-chasing Ritchie. Someone has to have principles.

Saw them at the 2005 U.S. Grand Prix. They played off the 2nd deck of the timing&scoring pagoda.

They were mighty, mighty; letting it all hang out.

Well, give him a break, it is hard to remember all that after 20+ years.

If I recall correctly, the ",1" was for the LOAD "*",8,1 , which loaded the first program on the disk. The ",1" was to designate it was machine language code, vs. a program written in BASIC (which you could load with just the ",8" (which was the drive designation, if you were a bad-ass with two drives, you'd also have a ",9").

/yeah, I'm a computer programmer now, whats it to ya

Ed McMahon dies and the Commodores reunite. Not a coincidence at all.

Speed that shiat up. Some of those games took quite a long time (relatively speaking), and this actually worked for the most part.

/LOAD"*",8,1 was likely one of the first things I learned as a child

True Story: a friend of mine's father owned an ice cream shop in Miami. One day the Commodores came in. They said "Hey, we're the Commodores!" He said "What's
that, some kind of an island?"

I'm a bit ashamed that I only found this song when I watched "Boogie Nights", but still, awesome is awesome.

Cool, I have a vintage 1980 Commodores tour T-shirt. Perhaps it's time to sell on E-Bay!

LOAD "*",8,1

Remember, on the C64, the asteric is above the 2.

"Easy like Sunday Morning" is a great karaoke song. Everyone will join in on the chorus.

Anyone know a good C64 emulator? I want to play some Seven Cities of Gold.

Fark this reunion. Lionel Richie should hook up with Ray Manzarek, John Densmore, and Robby Kreiger and call themselves The CommoDoors.

What keyboard are you using, dude?

Try WinVICE. It works pretty well.
