You know how the West has artists that were epochal thirty years ago but are basically just embarrassing zombies now? Russian artists are pretty much immune to that, they just turn into cool old guys.

This is because Andrey Makarevich has absorbed all of their potential uncoolness from a remote location. (Try to imagine Led Zeppelin hosting a cooking show.) Five hundred Russian people clicked that article and thought, "I knew Machina Vremeni would have something to do with this."

They used to be really good before Makarevich got all pretentious and weird, though.
