Interest? Too bad it's not proficiency.

as long as the assholes who thought everything was fine before are upset now... I have nothing but confidence.

If the douchebag neocons thought Obama knew what he was doing I'd be terrified.

He's a bully at home and an apologizing douchebag overseas. He really can do everything.

No doubt.

To be fair, it's baby steps for awhile. we knew the learning curve would be huge, but his main problem thusfar has been trying to domestically push every idea and agenda through too quickly. We saw the results with the "stimulus" package and bailouts.

His overseas rhetoric is embarrassing, period.

That could be the stupidist headline I've read in awhile, subby.

Yeah well Obama better remember that it's the domestic policy thats gonna make or break him.

It's the economy stupid.

It always is.

Neocons: We must blow up anyone who interferes in our interests.

Liberals: It's not 4th of July and you're not lighting M80s in your dad's back 40, you immature dumbasses.

Neocons. Saved from winning Darwin awards by liberals for 30 years.™

If by "interest" in foreign policy you mean "Do nothing but fly around blaming America" and if by "interest" in domestic policy you mean spending money at a rate never seen in the history of government I suppose.

"Conventional wisdom"? Subby should realize that most presidents have indeed been interested in both. Just because Chuckles W. Bush wasn't doesn't make it 'conventional wisdom' all of a sudden.

This administration has set a new standard for spending and debt. If they manage to get their healthcare nightmare pushed through, tack on 1-2 more trillion. Luckily, the Obama admin said unemployment would top off at around 8.4% or so.

It's amazing how much Dubya lowered the bar for what a president is expected to do.

He's trying to push socialism on this country before the 2010 elections have a chance to stop him. That's why he's rushing things.

"It's interesting."

"But do you support the pro-democracy demonstrators?"

"Whoa, let's not go CRAZY here!"

There's some high grade retard in here. Seriously if the you guys are this bent out of shape about it, the dude must be doing something right. Bush spends 8 years, seemingly going out of his way, to fark up all foreign and domestic policy. You guys cheered that idiot on like he was a dude banging the prom queen on a beer keg. Guess what? You were wrong for 8 years and you're still wrong.

Pfft. Those elections will be cancelled as Obama ushers in his Marxist-fascist totalitatian dictatorship.

There will be no more need for elections at all after 2010.

Pikers.

Well, Obama's got a lot to do. Trouble is, as much as he's multitasking, he really needs to do even more.

No kidding, watching the predictable responses from them in this thread is like opening presents on Christmas Day. And you gotta know a few of 'em are trolls and alts that have been shamed or kicked out of here before, like TCS, Taco Bellisbury, RLSM, etc, etc, which only makes it all the more satisfying.

TCS has to be a joke account just due to the shear amount of failure that he made himself. There is nothing he could say that people would take seriously ever.

Taco wasn't shamed. He was purposely outted by his real account and stopped being used.

You know, for all the recent surge in attention to Rush, I'm shocked that someone isn't using the RLSM account.

Hmm, I dunno; Poe's Law and all. I thought Taco got caught applauding himself in a comment thread; hell, hold on a second...

I know that Drew and the gang can see the IP addys of everyone who posts on FARK, so I hope they're all having a laugh at the trolls' expense, at least.

Yea, I don't know if its 100% true, but the timing was interesting. Pallidate mentioned that Taco was his alt, and then Taco never posted again after that.

If Drew and his group are laughing at anyone, they are probably laughing at the farkers who get annoyed by Drew's little army of traffic increasers.

Of course he is interested in domestic policy, thats where all of the graft and corruption is. How else can you funnel 1.6 trillion dollars to democrat interest groups except by manipulating domestic policy.

Knee Jerk Liberalism, the best kind.

Thats how we got the whole 'air raiding villages' and 'Ghengis Kahn' BS.

Despite the charges let's see how Obama's doing in the real world.

Before the speech in Cairo there were major concerns that Hezbollah would gian a ruling majority coalition in Lebanon. They lost seats.

In 2005 when Bush was in office, Ahmadinejad beat Mohammad Khatami, a reformer who offered to start negotiations toward peace before that opportunity was ruined by Bush. In 2009 Ahmadinejad resorts to blatant theft of an election and the people rise up in the streets to oppose him.

You might notice that when you have a President that doesn't threaten to invade other nations and 'liberate' them, those countries turn away from electing parties or leaders who oppose America.

netcentric 2009-06-20 10:44:50 PM
his foreign policy is to make no sudden moves, apologize profusely when in doubt and bow to despots.

His domestic policy is to spend like a drunk sailor, give handouts to those who have made bad decisions. Grow government and make people more dependent on it....

So far, nothing remotely close to the hype the media built up.
