That's what happens when you employ pretty people to read the news and fail to employ people who find the news stories and report them. The failure of CNN (and other "news" organizations) shows how worthless they have become.

Weird. It's almost like CNN waited until it could verify reports, before going ahead. Almost like they didn't just run with a Twitter story.

Beauty Queen says something silly - 2 million impressions. Easily. Before dinner.

I laugh at people who laud the prime time media for its coverage choice. They're not throwing darts the wall on what to cover you know, it's all based on social science of us. That is, you and me.

I've seen the studies, people say that want news but in reality all they care about is the latest gossip. People like you, me and the rest of the commenters facepalming CNN over this are the minority.

CNN admitted - after the fact - that they suppressed stories the former Iraqi gov't wouldn't have liked too.
