She's made many judgments that are fairly conservative in terms of police actions that have been challenged. She was a prosecutor too, which means that she'll be gung ho for law enforcement.

I just think it's silly to think that because one group of people (the republicans) will try to block the nomination of a person (who happens to be latino) that it will cause other latinos to not vote for them ever again in the future.
