Holy crap, subby, amazing find. Their self-titled CD is one of the best rock titles I've ever owned. Not a bad track on it.

Awesome. I love MOR and wish they would get more recognition...There has been many albums since, I liked the live Flak n' Flight album the most.

When their album came out, they did their subsequent touring with Ginger Baker, but he eventually left the group and besides Chris Goss (singer/guitarist) there hasn't been a solid recurring lineup since. Everyone was calling them the next big thing but they still had to do some opening slots for other bands for a year or so before they'd be considered the 'headline' band. He couldnt bear the idea of touring and opening for the likes of Alice in Chains, etc....

This guy Goss has produced almost every album for Kyuss & Queens of the Stone Age and is heavily involved with the Desert Sessions...

Deep in the Hole, for me. But I think that's primarily because he had QOTSA as his backing band.

Great stuff. Thanks, subby.

Cool. I'm not familiar with them, but have some listening to do... I love GB, too, but that's the exact same thing he played on P.I.L.'s "Ease". Not that there's anything wrong with that!

I've got one of their albums queued up in my new stuff to listen to, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Sounds interesting, though.

I saw what I believe was their first ever gig, and a bunch after that. No, I did not think they would be one of the most successful bands to come out of Syracuse. Shows what I know.

Very interesting band, and Chris was an interesting guy back in the day.

I still listen to parts of How High the Moon and Sunrise on the Sufferbus weekly. Love this band and so glad to see them getting the thumbs up on Fark.

Yep. Great band, indeed. So far, I only have the "Sunrise on the Sufferbus" album, but it's awesome.

Indeed, that is a fantastic cd. Ginger shows that drums can drive a melody in a couple of those tunes.

I always thought that "The Candy Song" was one of the most kick-ass tunes, ever. I should get more of their stuff.

Amazing and hard to find. Saw them at the Shrine Mosque in Springfield, MO with AIC. Staley collapsed on stage and Kirk Hammett from Metallica was filling in. Kirk smashed a giant stack of speakers with his guitar when he heard Layne was not coming back out.

Good times.
