Never understood the "Lucy In The Sky is a coded reference to drugs" theory. The Beatles were pretty open about their drug use (it was a different time...) and openly stated that other songs were drug-influenced, e.g. "A Day In The Life". And "She Said, She Said" was described by John as "an 'acidy' song", inspired by the remark from an LSD-tripping Peter Fonda, "I know what it's like to be dead".

So when John said "Lucy" wasn't about drugs, why would he bother to lie?

I admit it, I have always had a little crush on Julian Lennon since a teenager. The first concert I ever went to, was to see him. Now I love him even more. He seems like a really nice down to earth kinda of guy.
