Awesome band and performance, and thank God it isn't recorded with somebody's dumbass cellphone.

Here's Hysteria (new window) from the same concert.

I wish the bass wasn't so quiet in these recordings. It's one of Muse's strongest instruments.

Wasn't someone in another thread asking where the Led Zeppelin of today is?

Right here.

This is the coolest music video that I've seen in years.

Great band, and I totally agree about the bass volume. My only wish in videos like these is that the friggin' producers of these things would stop with the super fast camera cuts. It ain't Japanese cartoons people.

The bass volume is plenty loud people. I can always hear C-Dub's sexy fuzz

also, I submitted a sweet ass performance of TIRO once.... I want a green damnit!

A Muse thread? Check out Matthew Bellamy's sweet dance moves (pops).

Now that is a band that farking rocks. I have loved their stuff for a long time.

They remind me of the short lived band Vaux who also put on some amazing performances.

Whose?

I was there! Took my 14 year old son. I am 55 years old and I have seen some great bands in my time, including Led Zeppelin at Earls Court in 1975. Muse are right up there. Amazing for 3 lads from Teignmouth. I can hear Pink Floyd, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Rachmaninov and The Tornados when Muse play. They are the dog's bollocks. I've got tickets for Nov 5th at Liverpool Arena and I'm taking both my sons this time. I am a lucky, lucky man.

Muse > Radiohead

Muse was better back when it was called "OK Computer"

I like that even Radiohead's clone is fronted by a flaming homo, just like who they are copying.

Great. Another thread where the retards who haven't listened to either Radiohead in the past 15 years or any of Muse's recent albums start to moan and whine. Grow up and buy some new music.

Muse ROCKS. Saw them in SF in '07 and that was a mindblowing experience. A lot of the kids in the crowd were only familiar with "Knights of Cydonia" and had no idea what they were about to experience and judging by the reaction I witnessed afterward, they were completely shocked and blown away. Rock concerts performed with skill and enthusiasm like that haven't happened since the original monster stadium concerts of the 1970's. I totally agree with the statement that they're the Led Zeppelin of today.

/stoked to hear new album is coming

They need to hurry with the new album already! Muse is in my top 5 right now.

And all those who've mentioned > Radiohead. Indeed...by leaps and bounds.

Aw, poor little guy. Not getting any attention at home?

Misha80 2009-06-14 01:26:40 PM
this is just ridiculous, how many bands are going to keep ripping off Les Paul, he played the first solid body electric and everyone else is copying him....there's no chance of musicians being influenced by other artists or styles...they just all rip off Les Paul

I almost got to go to that show, but...

1- I didn't know that my friend who I was visiting up there that weekend was a Muse fan

2- Neither of us knew that they were performing up there on the day I left

3- And by the time we fixed problems 1 and 2, the show was sold out.

People like you probably like the music of the Spice Girls. Because you clearly don't know good music.
