It's important to know what hair color James Bond prefers since it'll help us cure cancer, or something.

Curious: Did the study determine if the carpet matched the curtains? Only then would this study be valid.

Does this mean brunettes are easier than blondes or redheads? When in reality we all know redheads are the easiest?

Because we all know that learning what makes the perfect bond girl can help us finally cure cancer and AIDS.

Who the hell pays for these studies to happen??

Looking at this study, using the link above, it appears to be a media student's thesis that was printed in the journal.

It's still not something that important. They can spend they're time figuring out what kind of girl James bond would rather bang than figuring out something that could be put to better use?

Why do women in those '60s and '70s pictures look strange? No muscle tone and they wear diapers. Odd.

Like I said, they were media students. It's possible that in the future, they will be working on a film like a James Bond film. It's actually useful to know about what works in that type of film. These kids can't cure cancer, they will be making your movies.

The James Bond films have made $4,355,700,000. For a movie maker, you can't ignore that and you would want to figure out the formula.

Muscles were not desired in women then. And camel-toe, I guess, just didn't exist. Just like nipples.

They're media studies students, from what I can understand. The journal is called "Sex Roles" and TFA explains--or at least solidy implies--that it's part of a study on how genders and gender roles are portrayed in the media. Folks can shiat on that all they want (because it's not "curing cancer" or whatever), but it wasn't just a couple of douchebags watching every Bond film and putting a tick mark next to the respective hair color.

We're spending our time reading and posting on Fark. Couldn't we be out doing something important instead?

Not everything done in life needs to have a greater meaning, purpose, or point.

Epstein's Mother: As long as the carpet match the drapes

In 'Diamonds are Forever' Connery/Bond shrugs and says, "Provided the collar and cuffs match..."

Short of Laetitia Casta being a Bond girl (oh please please please please please), Eva Green is the most breathtaking woman ever. Any Eva Green fan should see the film (RUN, don't walk) to see "The Dreamers." Trust me.

/Mad props to the new Bond, Daniel Craig

Unfortunately, there was also Tanya Roberts. Her voice alone nearly overpowered the Christopher Walken effect.

It's not that Bond prefers them. It's the bad guys, research agencies, and embassies that hire them and throw them into the adventure. Bond just leaps on whatever happens by.

We're having some fun.
We've got music and laughter and wonderful times.
And you know, I see people goin' to college for 14 years,
Studying to be doctors and lawyers.
And I see people gettin' up at 7:30 each morning
To go to the drugstore to sell Flair pens.
But the most amazin' thing to me is

You all know what's coming next...

/I get paid for doin' this.

Anyone notice the total failure of the picture in the article? Strawberry Fields was in QoS, which was not included in the study at all, since it was #22.

Strawberry Fields was also just there so that Bond would sleep with at least someone in the otherwise awful movie

"You've had your six."

CASINO ROYALE was phenomenal. Haven't seen QoS, but the opinion
of people I trust says it was only about 3 out of 5 stars, which
makes it 2 stars better than DIE ANOTHER DAY.

/Brosnan was a fine Bond, but the movie stank like a corpse.
//Daniel Craig is a superb Bond, just not in still photos.

Casino Royale was a good movie, but the 2 things it had in common with Bond movies are a name and a number. Many people have explained to me why they think Craig is the best Bond, but all they really say is that they loved the movie, and nothing about Craig overall. He is a good actor, but doesn't fit the role of Bond. The real hallmark of the best Bond actors has been the ability to pull off a smug feeling without making it too over-the-top. Craig's two expressions were smug and angry.

Also, check your trusted sources on QoS, because I have a feeling they were either stoned or asleep for most of the movie. I admit that Casino Royale was very well done, but QoS was one of the worst movies I've ever seen
