good audio and video. saw Ministry at Lollapollooza in early '90's, not sure which one, but was in Mountain View...had Ice Cube, Ministry, Red Hot Chili Peppers. farking trippiest thing ever....it was late, people were tired, but when Ministry came on EVERYBODY was standing, it was like you didn't have a choice. Jourgensen has a way of making you stand....biggest pit i've ever been in.

almejita: good audio and video.

This is your third music video submission in a row. I assume you believe that we can't search YouTube on our own.

Or the weed is really good but you don't want to share it, so you'll "share" music instead.

Pick up the bong and put down the keyboard ;)

ya Spin, I stop at three. I usually try to find live versions of stuff that I like, and that I think others might not think of.

Sorry mang.

I saw them with Skinny Puppy and the Skatenigs in Dallas in a really tiny venue in the 90's. Truly awesome concert. The Skatenigs were a trip.

It was '93. I saw the same tour, but in Saratoga. Big fan of Ministry but that show didnt work for me, it was not LOUD ENOUGH.(it was outdoors) and they kind of stretched their songs longer than necessary also. i dont feel this was the full ministry experience.

It was an awesome show, Jesus & mary chain were a letdown (pasty british under the sun at 2pm doesnt work) but Soundgarden, pearl Jam and Chili Peppers kicked ass

But

Yes, and we can all search the web for amusing/strange news articles instead of reading fark.

Good vid subby.

Nope, it was '92. Saw it in Atlanta. Kirk Hammett played lead guitar and the bassist from Soundgarden played bass (obviously).

Biggest and best pit I've ever been in. A blanket in the central core of the pit was popping people 15 feet in the air. I came out and my girlfriend asked what was on my teeth. They were coated in the dirt that was being kicked up by the moshers and which I got knocked down to a few times. I could hardly move the next day I was so sore.

Good times...

Really? At the Spinctour show I saw Al spent much of the time mumbling incoherently and leaning against a speaker column because he was too messed up to stand.

92! You have a better memory than I do. I remember Soundgarden did a cover of Body Count's "Copkiller" and the whole place almost turned into a riot. REaaaaaaally good times

Jourgenson was such a junkie during Lollapalooza that he often times was too messed up to take stage. So they got the Red Hot Chilli Pepper's guitar tech, who was a huge fan and knew all the songs, to dress up in a leather jacket, cowboy hat and sunglasses and pretend to be Jourgenson on stage and no one knew the difference.

Hah! Friend of mine took one to the face at The Riverside in MKE during the same tour. It was a nice theatre, and Ministry fans should never have been allowed in...three or four of the first few rows of seats were kicked off their bases halfway through the show.

Prayer guide still opened to the book of Revelations, Psalm 69, from time to time...

A rather pretty young thing kept chatting me up at a Ministry concert in Denver a few years back. It was odd because, well, pretty young things don't generally go out of their way to talk to me and secondly because she was ignoring the guy she was with. After awhile they went off to score some drugs, return, girl chats me up again "oh I just love sex sex sex" (while lifting her shirt to let her guy friend lick her tits).

And then ... "Oh, I don't feel so well." She starting to stagger about. Her friend went to get a security guy to help escort her out despite "I don't want to go, I don't want to leave."

She was 'helped' leave. I did nothing to intervene. In retrospect, I wonder is she had been roofied but why? I'm sure her guy friend was going to get laid in any case.

/great show even with the twinges of guilt

Okay, it's a little late, but I apologize for what I said initially.

I made my comment because there were three music YouTube posts in a row from one person, all submitted in a short period of time. Looked to me like somebody was going to flood the queue with every YouTube concert video they could find.

This has been done before.

I was wrong, the vids are very cool ;)

I like TMiaTTT, but for some reason it sounds pretty horribly dated. Maybe not too the same extent as say Pretty Hate Machine, but I prefer The Land of Rape and Honey, which has worse production.

Man, I haven't heard The Land of Rape and Honey in probably 15 years. TMiaTTT might sound a little dated, but I don't mind. I ran into a good friend last week who was rockin' the TMiaTTT and I've been listening to it since.

Really? I don't think it's dated at all. Nobody's done that style better before or since.

Killing Joke would like a word with you.

I like the album, it just seems very dated. Nor is it quite as good as The Land of Rape and Honey or Psalm 69.

Hell, I can't believe that's from '89. Dated, maybe, but I was only 11 at the time and completely missed out on them. I would've been in love with that.

I'm not knowledgeable enough about Ministry to know if there's more than one version of this song... but there is a George Carlin bit about the sanctity of life that mixes almost perfectly into the long opening of this track (or at least one version of it -- video keeps crashing my browser, so I don't know if this has the same long intro).

That's awesome. The exact same thing happened to me on the same tour watching the same band at Riverport in St. Louis. Girlfriend thought I was chewing tobacco. I said, "What are you talking about?" That's when I tasted the mud. Left during the Chillies show. They were already played out and it was just way too contrived and choreographed. Liked em better on the smack. Looked like an MTV awards show performance. I got my $ worth from Soundgarden, Ministry and yes, Pearl Jam was good back then.
