When they dance it's the blind leading the blind.
I'll bet they didn't see that one coming.

Yes he does, said the deaf man
and the man with no legs got up and walked away...

Well,...you WERE going to be eaten by a Grue but he's blind, and he found a Gruette and they went to the prom... So,.. nice spot of luck fo you!

You see a door to the north a dark pile of rags to the east, you just came from the west and there's a strange light to the south.

OK, I have to be serious here.

Perkins is near me, and my mother bought a Perkins Brailler (a clever mechanical gadget for "typing" braille on paper) from them, so she could transcribe books for the blind. When a couple of the leaf springs in the Brailler broke, I called them and they sent replacements, no charge, and made sure I knew how to install them.

When Mom died, I called them up, explained I had a Brailler that I wanted to donate for someone who couldn't afford to buy one. They were glad to have it back.

So, I have a soft spot in my heart for Perkins School for the Blind.

// continue Farking...
/// just remember Perkins does good work.

The crowd got ugly when the DJ played I can see clearly now, When I see you smile and Going Blind. They started throwing their canes.

On the plus side, you can have sex on the prom floor and nobody will see it.

"Many of its 200 students, day and residential, have other disabilities as well."

Is God some kind of pervert? Isn't making them blind good enough?

FTFA: "I don't know, because we've never gone out before," Guilbeault confessed. "But she's hot!"

Bull: if a blind guy knows a girl is hot, they've gone out. Maybe twice depending on the type of girl.

I knew this fellow in university who had some sort of skeletal/ developmental issue that left him somewhat deformed. He had a hard time getting around without crutches, and the medical procedures he underwent left him... well let's say not too attractive, despite whatever crap the condition would have left him with.

What astounded me to no end- was he had a smokin' hot girlfriend.

I was happy for him since if someone with those disadvantages can bag model class women, then there's hope for the rest of us as well.

Cheers to ugly dudes with disabilities with hot girlfriends.

wow. as someone who is chaperoning a prom night for a blind school tonight, I find this very topical.

NYMoogle 2009-06-06 06:50:13 PM
No matter how shabbily dressed, you just KNOW they smell good. At least, that would be the biggest thing to me if I were blind and trying to choose a dance partner.

Don't let them touch when they dance. Tell them to leave room for the holy ghost or something.

You know, I never realized the resemblance until I did a GIS for 'blinded me with science' and Alton Brown appears as the 9th result.
