Hint: if you want to shiat on something, don't intimate in the headline that they're wildly popular.

Sure, it works for subby's mom, since she's had more men flood through her than creased the Maginot Line.

But in general it's bad form.

There had to be a was to convey that Liam Gallagher was being a douchebag by refunding his fan's tickets that implied there were only one or two fans.

C'mon.

Try harder.

That's actually really professional. They tried three times to fix the issue apparently and possibly played past curfew, which costs money. That's totally cool of them to do that.

Good on them - they kept playing despite the problems, and are giving everyone their money back. That's ace.

Jesus, who gives a shiat? Why doesn't he just go back to smashing watermelons? At least that was sort of entertaining.

Yeah, what an asshole, giving everyone their money back and then playing a free show. Don't look back in anger, subby.

haha. Oasis may be one of the easiest bands of this era to pick on, and as such have consistently been picked on for 15 years, and yet subby failed.

Oasis is comedy gold. They nail down the mod Spinal Tap role very well.

Maybe their next show should be Pay As You Exit.

I wanna see that Vince guy try to sell the Sledge-o-Matic.

Regardless of past immaturity, this is really cool. Good for them.

and it was Noel who offered the refund. DOUBLE SUBBY FAIL

BuckyFellini 2009-06-05 08:34:08 AM
That's actually pretty cool of them, considering their unblemished record of douchebaggery. I'm actually kind of, dare I say, impressed.

Why all the Oasis hate subby?

You want hate? Brittany Spears walked out on 30,000 fans in Lubbock Texas cause it was too hot for the concert. She didn't refund a cent. So, in comparison, Oasis is pretty damn cool.

Axl Rose said that after 5 songs at a show I was at in Montreal.

/Never saw a dime
//watched a good riot that was worth the price of admission

Glitchwerks 2009-06-05 10:40:22 AM
Actually, why are they such douchebags? They take the piss all the time, sure, but they are damn funny when they do it.

Honestly, I like them. And here they are being awesome to their fans. Why the hate? 'Cos "Wonderwall" got played too much?

barneyfifesbullet 2009-06-05 10:48:17 AM
Well, there's today's Oasis post.

Next up, Trent Reznor and Kanye West.

Erm, yeah, about that:

'However, it seems they may already be regretting the massive payback, a move which could cost them £3 million. Towards the end of last night's gig, Noel seemed to be backtracking, telling fans: "Kind of regret offering you your money back now. Apply for it back if you wanna be a c*nt, we'll do our best for you."

Link (new window)

Yeah, very generous. But you're a coont if you do ask for your money back, apparently. Nice.

Oh well, I guess they are a bunch of Wentz. Nevermind my original post.

^ This.. They may suck or are douchebags but this was a stand up act on their parts. Oasis get a free pass today

total fail on subby's part for the reasons stated above.

qsblues 2009-06-05 01:15:56 PM
How bout subby refunds all TF'ers the month's subscription fee for this shiat?

/doesn't even like Oasis
//good entertainment when someone has the balls to interview either of those asshats, tho
///subby's mom gives bj's if you play "Sunshine Supernova" ... win/win

TimeWaste 2009-06-05 02:10:12 PM
Haha, I bet subby was so proud to see the link get greenlit.

...aaaaaand then the failstorm.

Oasis are shiate and pricks.

Fans got a full show in the end, which is what they paid for. Yet Oasis are standing by their offer of getting your money back. It'd just be a coonty thing to do if you actually got what you came for, he's saying.

Where's the Wentz in that?
