List of supposedly "hot" people includes several unattractive women, and fails to include the hotness that is Nikki Monninger from Silversun Pickups. Sheer, utter, and complete FAIL.

In anything, though, there are people in that field who happen to be "hot". That is what this list (is trying to) celebrate.

Plus, rock sucks because of major label record companies and A&R people who don't know anything about what "good music" is. Listen to the radio and you'll hear shiat. Waddle over to Last.fm or thesixtyone.com and you'll hear some great stuff.

Two artists in I was thinking "wtf not only are the girls not that hot, but its not even rock!" 12 artists later, that list actually rocks.

Lacks the frontgirl from The Long Blondes, might as well add Riot Becki from the Pipettes to the list if the Rock label is so large, too.

All in all, the bands on the list gets a thumbs up from me in terms of bands, though a lot of them are not strictly rock.

I think you missed Procedural Texture's point. The not-so-good looking examples you named came from the old school. They got to where they were because they had musical talent. In today's TV/Video/Visual world, artists with musical talent are being overlooked or passed over because they don't fit into a particular visual look (read good looking or sexy). I long for the day that the music was all that mattered, or at least was put first above all else.
