I fail to see how this is a scientific tattoo, but I think it's awesome nonetheless. It's the tattoo I would have gotten have I had been the type inclined to get tattoos.

I understand the desire to get a nerdy tattoo, but some of those are just hideous, or worse, boring.

There is so much in science that could be beautiful as a tattoo; the quadratic equation is not one of those things.

Ine is actually quite clever. It's the golden mean represented as a continued fraction and circular to deal with the fact that the expression is infinite and repeating.

Tattoos are most meaningful to the tattoo-wearer. Even though I wouldn't get one myself I appreciate them; these are really cool. I loved the full-back microscope art.

Can anyone tell me what that [OH - (benzyl group?) - NH₂ - CH₃]₂ - SO₄ compound is? Just curious. Tried googling benzyl methyl ammonium hydroxide sulfate and I think I was a little off because it was no help.

I assume the formulas meant something to the wearer, but not enough to me to actually figure them out.
