Are you kidding? There are a SLEW of instances of violence, including murders, of abortion providers listed here. I don't think these attacks are orchestrated in any way, but it is most certainly how the Fundies think. Not one Fundie is lamenting this doctor's death.

Abortion will never be made illegal in the US again. You may occasionally get some of the smaller states to ban it, briefly, at which points brave doctors will still perform it, illegally-- as will pimps and other criminals.

You could justify it to keep the church pure. That happens in the New Testament (Acts) with Ananias. I'm not Christian so I'm not 100% on it, but there seems to be a biblical justification for killing folks.

Right or wrong, they are just doing what they think is right. You can't really debate abortion, you either think it's a baby or a hunk of tissue. Aside from giving these guys a way to write us off morally, I don't see what we can do about it.
